nativeMsg is Hiring! nativeMsg is seeking an exceptional Account Executive to join a fast-growing start-up offering Conversational Marketing solutions to publishers and media companies that expand their current advertising offerings ultimately driving increased revenue and data collection.

nativeMsg offers publishers a comprehensive portfolio of innovative, Conversational Marketing solutions working across social, messaging, and ad channels to drive additional revenue. These Conversational Marketing solutions bring the brand experience closer to the consumer while capturing mission-critical data and insights for publishers and advertisers.

In this role, you will be responsible for introducing, educating, and selling in the comprehensive portfolio of nativeMsg Conversational Marketing solutions. You will be helping define nativeMsg’s products for publishers while building deep, strategic relationships with the world’s largest publishers and media companies.

This role requires a digital advertising sales master to drive increased revenue while helping to define customer needs and requirements during this phase of explosive growth!

Your Role

  • Prospect new clients & new verticals (i.e. non-endemic accounts)
  • Own and drive full cycle sales: initial outreach to closing the deal and passing the client to the Customer Success team
  • You will be selling the entire portfolio of nativeMsg Conversational Marketing solutions across messaging, social, and ad channels
  • Utilize consultative sales methods: Converse with clients via email and phone to determine upcoming campaigns or product launches, KPIs, timing, and budget
  • Effectively prepare for, conceptualize and deliver online, phone, and in-person sales presentations
  • Develop, maintain, and strengthen relationships with key publishers and media companies
  • Provide prompt phone/email follow up to inbound inquiries and new leads
  • Properly track all account activity in our CRM (Close)
  • Create efficiencies in the sales process
  • Forecast revenue from publisher and media company partnerships
  • Provide feedback on GTM strategy to refine and make it more effective based on specific needs and requirements.

Who You Are

  • A minimum of 5-7 years of related work experience, ideally in the publisher, media, or ad tech verticals
  • Candidates for the position should have a deep understanding of digital advertising and marketing in the publishing and media industries
  • Experience selling into publishers and media companies is required
  • Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills
  • Experience navigating the world of publishers and media companies is required
  • Must possess strong organizational and analytical skills
  • A keen ability to see opportunities, understand needs, create solutions, set proper expectations, and close deals
  • Experience using research and marketing to craft and deliver unique proposals/presentations
  • First-party data experience is a plus
  • Programmatic and DSP experience, as well as buying models (Private Marketplace, Programmatic Guaranteed), is a huge plus
  • Experience with Google Ad Manager and other ad serving platforms is a plus
  • Ambitious self-starter, with an entrepreneurial approach
